Were you saddened by the finally official cancellation of Devil May Cry for PSP? Well, you have a problem with your quixotic desires for vaporware (I’d go ahead and cancel your Gran Turismo for PSP as well), but the next best thing has been announced, EA’s upcoming action game, Dante’s Inferno, has been confirmed for the PSP. Considering that the PSP has seen an impressive iteration of the God of War series, there shouldn’t be any doubt that this 360/PS3 port could work on the PSP. The PSP version appears to be developed by Articifical Mind and Movment in conjunction with original developers EA Redwood Shores. No screens or videos yet of the PSP version, but I’m pretty sure this will be exactly how Dante Aligheri envisioned The Divine Comedy to be experienced.
Yes, the 14th century Italian poet clearly wanted to develop his very own portable game. Obviously, being there were no consoles back then, he settled for just writing the Divine Comedy. FINALLY his vision is being fulfilled. :)
