Firemint Real Racing Coming Soon

One of the hottest genres on the iPhone has been that of the racing genre – in part because the controls work so great, using your device as a steering wheel just works fantastically. Now Firemint, currently batting 1.000 in the “Hit iPhone games” department with the exceedingly popular Flight Control, are ready to loose their next release onto the App Store – Firemint Real Racing. The game comes packed with a feature list to die for:
- 36 cars in three classes, a dozen unique tracks, five game modes
- Three divisions to play through
- Massive career mode with 57 events to complete
- Ten licensed music tracks from indy artists
- Six cars on screen
- Touch or tilt to steer
- Manual or automatic acceleration and braking It
- In-car cockpit view or external camera
- Local multiplayer over WiFi
- Online league play
- Online leaderboards
- Video replays on YouTube
- Create personal leaderboards at www.cloudcell.com
Nice. Also promised are features for uploading videos of your best lap times to YouTube, advanced control configurations, console-quality sound as well as iPod music support. Flight Control was a crazy addictive game, as anyone who’s played it can attest, so Firemint’s got some cred here when they tell us their game’s going to be awesome.
