Gameloft’s platformer Castle of Magic has hit the App Store, and it sounds like great platforming fun. However, it appears as if Gameloft were so busy actually making the game that they forgot to name the main character of the game. Oh noes! However, the fine folks over there have come up with a brilliant idea to remedy this situation – crowdsourcing! In layman’s terms, that means that YOU could name the protagonist of this iPhone platformer, and entering couldn’t be easier. Either follow @CastleOfMagic on the Twitter and reply to them your brilliant idea(s) for character names, or become a fan of Gameloft on Facebook and write on their Wall your idea. It’s that easy, and you can submit up to 10 entries for some of your brilliant, but to a lesser degree ideas. And to help motivate you people into brainstorming some brilliant ideas, the winning entry gets a free iPod nano. You have until July 25th to enter, so start coming up with some great ideas, and keep an eye on The Portable Gamer for more coverage of Castle of Magic.
