Rolando 2: Quest for the Golden Orchid now available

Hot on the heels of the success of Rolando comes the uniquely named Rolando 2: Quest for the Golden Orchid. Rolando 2 promises:

- A deeper story featuring all new Rolandos

…and most excitingly of all, a non-linear story design where players can decide how the story will unfold.
For those of you interested in the new story, Ngmoco revealed that Rolando 2: Quest for the Golden Orchid will open with an evil curse that has ravaged the Sages of the Kingdom of Rolando. To save the dying Sages, the noble explorer and Captain of the HMS Plunderful, General Sir Richard Smythe, is given the task of leading the quirky Rolandos to retrieve the mysterious Golden Orchid from the summit of Stormtop Mountain. Each of the Rolandos look set to offer their own magic charm ranging from William “Billy” Loutfish, who is able to move heavy objects and dive deep into the waters to access hidden underwater treasures, to Major James Cardigan, the agile Rolando who is equipped for special climbing and navigation tactics. The game is available now on the app store priced at $9.99. It is currently exclusive to OS3.0 users and an update is coming soon to 2.2.1 users. Paid $10 for the first Rolando right before a price drop. I'll wait for a price drop on this one before I pick it up, but I can hardly wait. The original was outstanding.
