Dementium II Screens for Nintendo DS

The survival horror genre has taken many forms in the past years since its inception on the PC years ago. With the increasing power of consoles and portables specifically, there is a lot more that can be done in terms of gameplay and graphics. Just consider the original Nintendo Gameboy to the Nintendo DSi, the jump in power and technical specifications are astounding.

Renegade Kid and SouthPeak Games are continuing this tradition with Dementium II, a horror first person shooter. First person shooters were never thought to be possible on handhelds, but the PSP and Nintendo DS Lite and DSi are more than capable of showing the essentials of the FPS genre given the proper development team behind it.

Considering these first screens for this upcoming title, Renegade Kid knows how to work the Nintendo DS to create atmospheric and disturbing environments on the handheld.

Most of the love is towards the Touch, but there is a severe anticipation of the PSP Go and what it could do.
