In what could be potentially huge news for the iPhone, Rockstar has announced 2 games planned to hit this fall: Beaterator, the music-making game produced in collaboration with Timbaland, and the really big news: Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. GTA:CW was much loved on the DS (at least from a critical standpoint) and with the upcoming PSP port, perhaps this news is not a huge surprise given the momentum that the iPhone has picked up as a gaming platform. This is potentially a huge coup for the App Store, as probably the biggest license yet hits the iPhone, and GTA:CW was a great DS game. No details on either beyond that they’re scheduled to hit this fall according to Kotaku, but new details are sure to hit the wire as the game gets closer to release.
