I value the opinions of my friends. I tend to take the advice of those of my friends who have similar taste as mine, or who know what they’re talking about. A couple of my favorite friends suggested I check out iMEvil.
Before I tell you about the app, you need to know a few things about me. I’m a singer and a musician. I play the bass; I love (and I mean LOVE) deep voices. Another thing that may be important to note here, is how my brothers and I are known for getting together and comparing the new songs, sounds, and quotes that we have on our phones. We are also known for randomly using quotes that only we know. Keep all of this in mind as I divulge the details of the iMEvil goodness.
iMEvil is an app that contains 6 pages (yes, 6) of icons, each of which accompanies a phrase. There are two phrase themes contained within. One is simply iMEvil, and it lives up to it’s name. David Sobolov (yes, the voice of the Arbiter from Halo Wars, and a myriad of other gaming and animated notables) lends his talents to this app. [listen to our interview with him here --Ed.] With talent of this caliber, it’s no wonder I want to listen to the phrases again and again. Without giving them all away, I can tell you that among the phrases you’ll find here are, “Now this is ironic”, “Someone must pay for your failure”, “Come out, come out, where ever you are”, “Evil is near”, and “Feeding time”. You’ll have to get the app to experience my favorites though.
Overlord II is a video game that was released in June of this year. The quotes are every gamers’ dream. Some of which you can find on the new edition of the iMEvil app. 3 pages of them, in fact. Some of the quotes here include, “Bye bye sheepies”, “Flying mutton”, “Hippie wasters”, “Now don’t let the power go to your head”, and “Show ‘em who’s top of the food chain.” Again, I won’t list my favorites here, because that would be telling; you’ll have to check it out for yourself. But I will tell you that every time I listen to them, I laugh my ass off. The only draw back to this particular soundpack is that a couple of the phrases are repeated in slightly different ways. Unfortunately, they aren’t phrases that I would probably use a ton anyway, so it tends to seem slightly excessive.
The icons, background, and lettering are all clear and a wide array of vibrant colors are used, making this app very aesthetically pleasing. In addition, the sounds are clear and can be made loud enough to use at, say, a boardroom meeting or family dinner. The phone’s volume buttons work to control the volume, which is very convenient. Auto-lock can be enabled, as well as an option to disable the start up sound (in case you’re looking to surprise your friends).
Granted, this app is not a game, but it’s game related and, well, it’s freaking sweet! So stop looking at me in that tone of voice and get the iMEvil goodness already!

Nice. Sounds sorta' fun for only a buck. I just bought the app.
