Coming to an iDevice near you in Mid-August is an already award winning game for children called The Magic Labyrinth. Kids may have already played it on the Nintendo DS but looking at the games screenshots it looks like its a perfect port. The game will have you playing little wizard apprentices who need to collect magic symbols through 2 game modes with different difficulty levels. The game promises to work the gray matter between your ears, and from looking at the game play so far, it seems to be a fun way to do it. Expect a full review from us when its available but in the meantime enjoy these screenshots.
Coming in August to an app store near and dear to you will be a new game in the running genre that gives you an added dimension to previous incarnations of games like this. In Gravity Runner you play a character running for all he’s worth. You control him with a simple tap and collect items as you run. Sounded a bit like other games already out there but there is one unique variation..With an additional tap you can turn the character upside down. From the screen shots and preview video the developers provided below, this looks to be a fun, fast paced game that will be an instant hit. As soon as we get our hands on it, we will give you a full review but here is what we know so far:

Summer is here in the Northern Hemisphere so I guess it stands to reason app makers will be trying to cash in and make summer apps. Today I bring you Beach Bowling 3d for iPhone & iPod Touch from FDG Entertainment due out in July with an iPad version due out later in the year. I like bowling so I may like the game. The screen shots blow looks great so I hope it can live up to my expectations. Being a bowler in real life I usually hate the over simplified controls. No word on price yet, but I’ll update this post as soon as we know more.
Chillingo is one of my favorite game developers and now they have put their stamp on an adorable looking zombie game called Zombie Wonderland. Let see what they say:
Get ready! Grab your handy shotgun and your mop because the undead are coming! Residents of Niceville are terrified of the zombie infestation and there’s only one person they know who does house calls. Chuck the most qualified (and only) zombie cleaner in Niceville. Direct Chuck to take out those shuffling zombies in five different locations of Niceville – Oh, and no one likes a messy houseguest, so clean up those zombie guts!
Zombie Wonderland is the frenetic new undead blaster, where staying on top of your chores is as important as keeping both barrels trained on the next unwanted, zombie visitor. Fun, fast and engaging it plays like a defense shootem up in 3D. Be sure to strategize and manage your time as you run from window to window blasting the undead whilst cleaning up the mess left by the ones that got through. The residents of Niceville are depending on you – so LOCK and LOAD!
Game Features:
Frantic Gameplay: Protect all possible entrances to the building and mop the floor (with the zombies and their guts respectively). You’ll need to strategize whom to attack and when because not all zombies are created equally. Tap the entrance for Chuck to move to and tap on zombies to unleash the bullets.
The long and short of it: Play five-night story mode or just see how long you can survive in Endless play. In story mode unlock 5 different locations and spend 5 nights each defending the residents of Niceville.
Four Different Zombie Types and Levels: Swat back Greenies, Greenies on fire, Grannie and Meanie zombie types. Remember some zombies shuffle more quickly than others!
Upgrade Your Firepower: Unlock bigger more menacing weapons to cope with the escalating onslaught of brain hungry groaners. Borrow Aunt Lilly’s box of Super Slug bullets, mount a machine gun sentry on the window sill, and even upgrade your mop and bucket to a Gutvac super vacuum for those hard-to-shift blood stains.
Full Cyrstal Support: Beat challenges, win achievements and track your score on the global Crystal online leaderboards. You can even challenge your friends and submit your scores to Facebook and Twitter.
Looks and sounds great! Be sure we’ll get some hands on it soon and let you know about the actual game play soon. Until then enjoy this video and screenshots.
Hot in today’s news feed was an exciting looking game for anyone that loved Metroid or Mega Man; I just had to share it with all of you.
From the looks of it, you will be playing a security bot called a Lunar Defense Unit tasked with the job of finding Dr. Savain and restoring order before the exiled inhabitance arrive. This challenging Side-Scrolling action game has beautiful 3D environments, (just take a look below), and an original soundtrack all done with a nod to the nostalgic bone in all of us. Whats not to drool over?
What I’m really liking the sound of is the relationship the developers seem to have with the community already. They have already pushed out an update based on user feed back and another one is in the works. They also promise to add expansions to the game at no extra cost! My favorite type of dev.
We will get you a full review as soon as we can. If you’ve played it already, please get the conversation started and leave your comments below.
Crawlspace Games have revealed more screenshots from their yummy zombie game set to come out in May. The games promises a kid-friendly zombie experience with 50 levels and various game modes to even keep the adults coming back for more.
